The mortar laid by Jacob and only a few walls standing tall that echoed Lambert's sermons are all that remain of this once bustling Lutheran Church in Hunterdon County, NJ.
Gravestones have been robbed by time.. entombed in gnarly roots, twisted around with wild roses... a scant 20-21 markers remain, but how many were actually laid to rest in the Old Swack Church cemetery?

Floor joists were most likely notched and laid into the bottom ledge, with floor boards secured on top. As for the top ledge, who knows?
Hand-forged nails of varying lengths and thicknesses. Dated 1840s and 1860s. This makes sense, as the Swack Church was built in 1844.
